Ruby is a 9 year old female who is very friendly.  She talks a little and loves to eat.  Ruby also likes music and David Letterman.  She does feather pick, but will grow them back.

Ruby is a female eclectus who is very smart.  She loves to be out of her cage watching what happens around her.  She is beautiful with no feather problems.

Timneh African Grey

Alf is a female who is 30 years +. She loves shredding toys.  She had one owner until the owner died.  Alf can be shy and standoffish.  She needs a family to bond to and love.

Kokie

Bare Eyed Cockatoo

Kokie is a great bird. Hes a male and is about a year old. hes very loving, sweet, and affectionate; he can also be very active and playful. He can be a bit nippy as well, but more of a exploring playful nip then a mean bite. Hes a wonderful bird looking for his first home.

 


Monty

Medium Sulfer Crested Cockatoo

Monty is about 25 yers old. He is a good bird looking for a new patient and loving home. He can be very sweet at times, but has shown agression with children is his previous home.


Kokomo

Umbrella Cockatoo

Kokomo is a 6 year old female.  She is very lovable, but shy at first.  She has a history of chewing on her feathers.  Koko loves destructible toys and foraging.  Like most cockatoos, she can be loud and very intelligent.


Jaunty

Jaunty is 30 years+ DNA male who is a clown!  He is a good talker and always good for a laugh.  He likes to sing, we just haven't figured out the song yet.  He is gentle and will step-up easily.  Loves other birds - sometimes following the other bird on the stand.

HUGO

Yellow-fronted Amazon

Hugo is 26 years old and was in her last home for 20 of those years.  She had her last vet check-up in October, 2008.  Hugo will nip if she is upset or not familiar with a person and loves eating apples, corn on the  cob, and bananas.

Her favorite toy has a bell and she will enjoy a bite of vanilla ice cream with you if you allow it.

Seven years old & in beautiful feather.  He loves to dance to music and is very sweet.

Medium Sulphur-Crested Cockatoo

Stan is very animated and comes to your home with his cage and toys. 

He is micro-chipped for Identification.


CRASH- adopted

Lesser Sulphur Crested Cockatoo

Crash was rescued from being hit by a car and taken to Dr. Ruth Adams who nursed him back to health.  We have no background information but he is a very nice bird that loves to play on the tree with others and hunt for treats. 


TOBY- HAS BEEN ADOPTED

Mealy Amazon

A really sweet giant that is almost 30 years old.  He would love a human companion and loves to shower with you.  He does vocalize but not consistently - he is more of an afternoon 10 minute noise maker.

Moluccan Cockatoo

Polly is a male Moluccan Cockatoo with tons of personality and he loves to cuddle BUT knows how to play on his own.  He talks more than screams.  He likes to take a bath in the sink and had his last vet check-up in November, 2008.

Umbrella Cockatoo

Maggie is a 12 year old female that loves to listen to music and dance.  Loves to cuddle and to be covered at night.  One of her favorite activities is to shred the old phone book.

Umbrella Cockatoo

Jasmine is a 15 year old female Umbrella Cockatoo with the reddest eyes you have ever seen!  She prefers women but also likes men.  She is a cuddler and loves to shower with a human and be blown dry.

CHULO- Has been adopted!

Blue & Gold Macaw

Chulo came to us as a boarder in June, 2007, due to an illness in the family.  His owner visited often for several months then just disappeared.  We don't know his age but we do know that he is a very sweet bird in need of love.  He loves to carry on conversations with himself.

Citron-Crested Cockatoo

Elima had her last check-up at the Medical Center for Birds in November,2008.  She likes to take a bath in the kitchen sink and is a very happy active bird that likes to cuddle.

Lobo has had one home in his 30 years and is now learning how to socialize with other birds.  He has a big vocabulary and loves an occasional bite of pizza or spaghetti.  He is looking for lots of attention.

Yellow-Naped Amazon

Bubba is about 24 years old and was wild caught and can be handled.  She doesn't particularly care to be around small children but has lived with cats.  She is learning how to play with toys and to forage.  Additionally, she is on a diet.  Hopefully the combination of these two activities will encourage her to regrow her feathers.

Scarlet Macaw

Coco had her last well-bird check-up in April,2008 at the Medical Center for Birds.  She was hatched in 2000 and being stressed because of a ill behaved family dog began her feather destructive behavior.  She has grown all of her feathers back 3 times, but when stressed will remove them.  The last time she destroyed her feathers was when we moved the shop from Lafayette to Concord.

Double Yellow-Headed Amazon

Due to a change in the living situation of Oscar's family, he has come to us to find a new home.  He was hatched in the summer of 2002 and loves to play with colorful wood on his playtop.  He is used to getting a bath either with a spray bottle or by playing in a bowl of water.

Tejo is 15 years old and had his last well-bird check in 2006.  He is very active and loves to sing.  His favorite toy is a ball and he is a clown with a good vocabulary.  He is a great bird.
