Our staff is there to assist with any behaviorial issues that people who live with parrots might experience.  We are not avian veterinarians, but we will refer our clients to qualified avian veterinarians should we see something we feel is of concern.

Laurie Baker has over 20 years experience with exotic birds.  She studied Ornithology and recieved a certificate from Cornell University and she has a B.S. is in business management from St. Mary's College.  She takes every opportunity to expand her knowledge so that this knowledge can be shared with her clients.  She has also co-authored a book called "The Essential Cockatoo" which was released in late 2008.  Laurie has had many articles published in national magazines and has spoken to groups on a national level.  Her activities within the Avicultural community have taken her to Loro Parque, Tenerife, Spain, and several projects in Brazil.  She is a State Coorinator for the American Federation of Aviculture.

Andrea joined us in December, 2006, she has a feathered family tha includes a Patagonian Conure, a double-yellow headed Amazon, a white-eyed conure, a greencheek conure, plus a few others.  Her background is in pre-school teaching.

Lori has worked every other weekend for over 7 years.  She breds Pyrruhura conures, Pionus, & lovebirds.  She is a dedicted aviculturist and our resident authority on budgies.

Lynn has had over 15 years experience with parrots, including time spent being employed at a veterinarian's office.  She joined the team several years ago.  Her home includes too many feathered friends to list.

Maria has been with us for over 4 years and her knowledge continues to grow.  She also has birds at home along with a husband and 2 sons.

Zoe has been around Feathered Follies for over 10 years.  She did leave us to attend school out of state, but now shnyv nmbhe is back and going to Diablo Valley College.  Over the years she has gained a wealth of information and skill with regard to birds.
