An Important Announcement: 

Alex the African Grey parrot died unexpectedly on September 6, 2007, at the young age of 31 years about 2 weeks after his yearly veterinary exam. 

Alex died quickly. He had a sudden, unexpected catastrophic event associated with arterosclerosis ("hardening of the arteries"). It was either a fatal arrhythmia, heart attack or stroke, which caused him to die suddenly with no suffering. There was no way to predict his demise. All of his tests, including his cholesterol level and asper levels, came back normal earlier that week.

We now offer many of our high quality bird toys and food online.  We only select the best products for your birds, and ship everything (except birds!) directly to your door. Our new online store is still being built, so please check back often to see what is new.

Our complete bird grooming, boarding, and store is located in Lafayette, California.  Care taking is performed 7 days a week, 365 days a year.
