Helping us move?

We will be doing our actual moving Friday thru Sunday from 9am to 5pm. We would welcome any help you can offer us, even if it means one trip or packing one box.

Grand opening

We will be having our grand opening celebration at our new location on Saturday September 20th and Sunday September 21st. Stop by and see the new place, take advantage of sales, and meet the birds that are currently with us. Hope to see you there!

MOVE UPDATE!

Feathered Follies will be moving on August 29, 30, and 31. We will stay open at our current location on the 29th and 30th to better serve you. The store will be closed on the 31st in order to complete our move and we will be back open on September 1st at our new location. We welcome any help with moving that we can get. Feathered Follies has lost its lease in the Lafayette location and has to be moved by September 1, 2008.   On the bright side, our new location is larger so that we may serve you better and is only 13 minutes from our current shop.  The address is:

To all our boarding clients:  We will be contacting you regarding your reservations during the time of our relocation.  With your permission, your bird will make the move with us.  We are extremely sorry for any inconvience this causes.

An Important Announcement: 

Alex the African Grey parrot died unexpectedly on September 6, 2007, at the young age of 31 years about 2 weeks after his yearly veterinary exam. 

Alex died quickly. He had a sudden, unexpected catastrophic event associated with arterosclerosis ("hardening of the arteries"). It was either a fatal arrhythmia, heart attack or stroke, which caused him to die suddenly with no suffering. There was no way to predict his demise. All of his tests, including his cholesterol level and asper levels, came back normal earlier that week.

We now offer many of our high quality bird toys and food online.  We only select the best products for your birds, and ship everything (except birds!) directly to your door. Our new online store is still being built, so please check back often to see what is new.

Our complete bird grooming, boarding, and store is located in Lafayette, California.  Care taking is performed 7 days a week, 365 days a year.
